answer &.a and now to witt att that Same Court held for the County aforesaid at dividing Creek the fifteenth day
of June Anno Dom One Thousand Seven hundred and forty Two before the aforesaid Justices Came the aforesaid John
Jackson by George Douglas ^his attorney^ and had a hearing of the Information aforesaid and saith that he Cannot deny but that
the said John Jackson is guilty of the premisses aforesaid in the Information afd specifyed
above upon him Imposed in manner and form as by the Information afd above
against him Supposed and the premisses afd Expressly acknowledgeth

                Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being seen
and by the Court here fully understood  It is Considered by the Court here that the
af.d John Jackson pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine
by the Court hereupon him Imposed for and by occasion of the premisses af.d
whereof in form af.d he is Convict thirty Shillings Currt money of maryland
and that the said John Jackson be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine af.d
&.a
                               Whereupon the said John Jackson is ordered to give
Security to save and keep Indemnifyed the Justices of Somerset County
and their sucessors from all troubles burthens and Charges that might Accrew by
means of the birth maintaince nourishment and bringing up of the Child afd &a

    Thereupon a Certain Hindman Wharton of Somerset County planter
present herein Court acknowledged himself Indebted unto his said Lordship
the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary of the province of maryland in
thirty Pounds Currt money of maryland of his body goods or Chattles Lands
or Tenements to be made and Levied to the use of the Inhabitants of the County
of Somerset for the time being  If it happen that the said Hindman Wharton
his heirs Ex.rs Administrators and assingns or any or either of them doe not
from time to time and at all times hereafter acquit discharge and save harm
Less as well the Justices of Somerset County for the time being as also
the Inhabitants of said County of Somerset and of and from all Costs Charges
and burthens whatsoever for or by Reason of the birth maintaince nourishment
and bringing up of the af.d Child and of and from all other suits Charges troubles or
