1742 310 and Charges af.d to the same John and Company at their Request by the Court now here adjudged and the af.d William in Mercy &.a
owes and unjustly Detains &.a And Whereupon the said Parker by George Douglas his attorney says that whereas the said George Pope on the 10th day of April Anno Dom MDCCXLI at the County af.d by his Certain Writing Obligatory which the said Parker sealed with the Seal of the said George Pope herein Court brings whose date is the day and year af.d did acknowledge himself to be held and firmly bound to the said Parker Selby in the said Ten pounds Sterling to be paid to the said Parker when he should afterwards be thereto Required Nevertheless the said George Pope the said Ten Pounds to the said Parker hath not Rendered but that doe altogether hath denyed and still doth deny and unjustly detain altho thereto afterwards to wit on the second day of January in the year afd at the County afd and often Since that time by the said Parker Required to the Damage of the said Parker Fifteen pounds sterling and thereof he brings suit &.a Pledges &.a J Doe and R Roe And the aforesaid George Pope by William Arbuckle his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &.a and saith that he Cannot deny the Action af.d of the af.d Parker Selby nor Can he say but that the writing Obligatory af.d is the Deed of the same George nor but that he owes the same Parker the af.d Ten Pounds Sterling in manner and form as the af.d Parker above against him |
