dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty two to satisfie John
Henry Gent as well a Certain Debt of Tenn pounds ^two Shillings^ Curr.t money of Maryland which the same John Henry in the
same Court before the Justices thereof at Dividing Creek Recovered against him as of Two hundred and Eighty Eight
pounds of tobacco which to the same John Henry in the same Court ere adjudged for his Damages which he had by
Occasion of the detention of that same debt whereof he is Convict &c     and the Same day is given to the afd John here &a

                            Att which day here Came the af.d John Henry in his proper person and the sheriffe of Somerset County
to witt John Handy Gent now here returned that he had taken the af.d John Nicholson whose body hereat this day he
had ready to satisfie the af.d John Henry of the Debt and Damages af.d as to him it was Commanded &a

    You Southy Nuton and Ambross Riggin do Confess Judgment to William
Broughton for the Sum of fifteen Shillings in paper money and Costs of Two Shillings
and Six pence Currant money against Southy Newton which Sum was Recovered by the said
William Broughton on the fifth day of June before John Scott the said fifteen Shillings in paper money and
Costs of two Shillings and Six pence Currant money to be Levied of Your bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenem.ts
for the Use of the said William Broughton  In Case the said Southy Newton shall not pay and Satisfie unto the
said William Broughton the Said fifteen Shillings in paper money and Costs of Two Shillings and Six pence so
as aforesaid Recovered against him with the additionall Costs thereon on the tenth day of November next taken
before me this 5.th day of June Ann Dom 1742                                                        Jno Scott
