Command was given to the Sheriffe of Somerset County that he Should take
William Hook Late of Somerset County planter if he Should be found in his
bailywick and him should safe Keep so that he might have his body before the Justices
        of his Lordships County Court of Sommerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June Ann Dom
        One Thousand Seven hundred and forty Two to answer unto Henry Laurence of a plea of trespass upon the Case &a and
       the Same day is given to the aforesaid Henry here &a

                      Att which day here Came the aforesaid Henry Laurence by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney and the
       Sheriffe to witt John Handy Gent now here returned that he had Taken the aforesaid William hook whose body her
       at this day he had ready to answer the aforesaid Henry of the aforesaid plea as to him it was Commanded &a
      
                And afterwards the Same day and Year Last abovesaid at dividing Creek Came the aforesaid Wm
        Hook by Francis Allen his attorney and the aforesaid Henry Laurence then and there his writt aforesaid against
        the aforesaid Francis Allen his attorney and the aforesaid Henry Laurence then and there his writt aforesaid against
       the aforesaid William Hook did not prosecute with Effect but Voluntarily permitted his Suit to be discontinued
      
                   Therefore afterwards to witt that Same day by discretion of his Lordships Justices here were
        Adjudged the Same William Hook                                                                     pounds of tobacco for his Costs
       and Charges by him about his defence in this part Sustained according to the form of the Statute thereof
       made and provided and the aforesaid Henry in mercy and the aforesaid William have thereof Execution &a


          Ordered by the Court here that David Richardson pay unto Tabitha Richardson and Charity Dredon Sixty
          pounds of tobacco each for their attendance two days each as evidences on behalfe of the said David Richardson
          against Thomas Wise they having made Oath to the Same &.a
