297 which he had by Occasion of the detention of the Same debt whereof he is Convict &a Att which day here Came the afd Denton Carroll by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney and the Sheriffe (to witt) John Handy Gentleman now here returned that he had taken the aforesaid William Beavins whose body hereat this day he had ready to Satisfie the aforesaid Denton Carroll of the debt and damages aforesaid as aforesaid to him it was Commanded &a
Currant money of Maryland and Two hundred and ninety Seven pounds of tobacco as also Twenty Two pounds of tobo additionall Costs for which Sums the said James Anderson together with Henry Reynolds and Nehemiah Dorman before Henry Ballard and Thomas Gillisse Gentlemen two of his said Lordships Justices of the County Court of Somerset on the Twelfth day of May Anno Dom One Thousand Seven hundred and forty One Confessed Judgmt unto the aforesaid Joseph Ennalls according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided whereof the said James Anderson is Convict &a and the Same day is given to the aforesaid Joseph there &a Att Which day here Came the aforesaid Joseph Ennalls by Francis Allen his attorney and the Sheriffe (to witt) John Handy Gentleman now here Returned that ^he had Taken^ the aforesaid James Anderson whose body at this day he had here Ready to Satisfie the aforesaid Joseph Ennalls of the debt and Costs aforesaid as to him aforesaid it was Commanded &a Somerset County ss You James Anderson Thomas Carey and George Mackeanie do Confess Judgment unto Joseph Ennalls for the Sum of Sixty Two pounds Currant money and three hundred and nineteen pounds of tobacco which Sum was Confest unto the said Joseph Ennalls by the said James Anderson on the 12.th day of May 1741 before Henry Ballard and Thomas Gillisse two of his Lordships of the peace for the County afd according to the direction of the act of assembly in such Case made and provided the said Sum of Sixty two pounds Currant money and three hundred and nineteen pounds of tobacco to be Levied of your bodies goods or Chattles Lands or tenements for the use of the said Joseph Ennalls In Case the said James shall not pay and Satisfie to the said Joseph Ennalls the said Sixty two pound Currant money of and three hundred and nineteen pounds of tobacco so as aforesaid Confest by him with the additionall Costs thereon on the tenth day of November next Judgmt Confest the 17.th day of may 1742 before Tho.s Gillisse To M.r Thomas Hayward Clk Co.t
