Command was given to the Sheriffe of Sommerset County that he Should take James Townsend
Late of Sommerset County planter Otherwise Called James Townsend if he Should be found in his
bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Sommerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June Ann Dom One Thousand Seven hundred and
forty Two to Satisfie Robert Allen ^as well^ of a Certain debt of Six pounds Sterling money which the Same Robert Allen in the same
Court before the Justices thereof at dividing Creek recovered against him as of Two hundred and ninety Six pounds of tobo
which to the Same Robert in the Same Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by Occasion of the detention of
that same debt whereof he is Convict &a

                   Att Which day here Came the aforesaid Robert Allen by George Douglas his attorney and the Sheriffe to witt John
Handy Gent at the same day now here Returned that he had Taken the said James Townsend whose body hereat this day he had here
Ready to Satisfie the aforesaid Robert Allen of the debt and damages aforesaid as aforesaid he was Commanded   And the same
Sheriffe at the Same day altho' Solemnly Called brings not in the body of the Same James Townsend according to the return
of the writt aforesaid &a

Command was given to the Sheriffe of Sommerset County that he Should Take Elias Lamberson Late
of Somerset County planter otherwise Called Elias Lamberson of Somerset in Maryland if he should
be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices
of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand
seven hundred and forty two to satisfie Ralph Corbin as well a Certain Debt of nine pounds Current money of Maryland which
the same Ralp Corben in the same Court before the Justices thereof at Dividing Creek recovered against him as of one hundred
and ninety one pounds of tobacco which to the same Ralph in the same Court were adjudged for his Damages which he had by
Occasion of the detention of that same debt whereof he is Convict &c

                      Att which day here Came the af.d Ralph Corbin by George Douglas his Attorney and the sheriffe to witt John
Handy Gent now here returned that he had taken the af.d Elias Lamberson whose body hereat this day he had ready to satisfie
the af.d Ralph Corbin of the Debt and Damages af.d as af.d he was Commanded      And the same sheriffe at the same day altho'
Solemnly Called brings not in the body of the same Elias Lamberson According to the return of the writt af.d &a
