1740 28 Likwise the same Thomas Walker with the aforesaid Mathias Gale and William Jones his securitys aforesaid all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord Proprietary in Forty pounds Currant money of Maryland of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements severally to be made and Levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors If it happen that the said Thomas Walker doe not keep good Rules and Orders and do suffer Idle loose or disorderly persons to tipple Game or Commit disorders or Other Irregularities in his Ordinary or hous of Entertainment during the time that he shall keep the same Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such Case provided &a
Strangers as to them Respectively shall seem meet which is here unto him by the Court granted &c he giving security to Comply the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided &c Whereupon the said Jarrott Wiley with Jonathan Shockley and Parris Chipman both of Somerset County planters his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary of Maryland in the full and Just Sum of Five pounds Current money of the said province of their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands or tenements severally to be made and Levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors. If it happen that the said Jarrott Wiley doe not pay and satisfie unto the Sheriffe of the County af.d for the time being Fifty Shillings Current money of the province af.d yearly and every year he shall keep such Ordinary or hous of Entertainment as af.d &c Likewise the same Jarrott Wiley with the af.d Jonathan Shockley and Parris Chipman his Securitys ^af.d^ all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord Proprietary in Forty pounds Current money of Maryland of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements Severally to be made and Levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that the said Jarrott Wiley doe not keep good rules and orders and do Suffer Idle Loose or disorderly persons to tipple Game or Commit disorders or other Irregularities in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment during the time that he shall keep the same Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the Act of Assembly in such Case provided &c
