288 Robert King Gent Chiefe Justice of our said Court the twentyeth day of March Anno Dom one thusand seven hundred and forty one Att which day here Came the af.d Day Scott by Robert Jenckins Henry his Attorney and the sheriffe to witt John Handy Gent now here made return of the foregoing writt to the Court here endorsed in these words Following Somerset ss I do hereby humbly Certifie unto the Justices within mentioned that by Virtue of the within Writt to me directed on the twenty seventh day of may in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty two I Attached within my Bailywick of the Goods and Chattles of the within named William King to the Value of two pounds six shillings and five pence Curr.t money and Seven hundred and one pounds of tobacco as by a Shedule thereof hereunto annexed may appear which I have here ready to be Condemned According to Act of Assembly to satisfy the within named Day Scott the said sum of two pounds six shillings and Eleven pence and two hundred and twenty six pounds of tobacco which to the same Day Scott &.a were adjudged for his Damages &c agreable to the within writt and as I am hereby Commanded so answers John Handy Sher An Inventory of the Goods of William King Inholder Attached for the use of Day Scott we the Subscribers being being Somm.d and Sworn doth appraise the Goods as Followeth Given under hands and seals this 27th day of may 1742
