273 the Term aforesaid In Consideration of which service the said John Williams present herein Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in manner and form following that is to say that he the said John Williams shall and will Learn his said apprentice during the term aforesaid the Trade of a shipwright and read write and Cypher as far as the rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude give him a new Suit of Cloaths over and Above his Common wearing Cloaths and abroad ax and adz and also provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term aforesaid &a Whereupon the said John Williams is Ordered to give Security for to Comply with the Covenants aforesaid Thereupon the said John Williams with Robert King of Somerset County aforesaid Esq.r his Security both present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said Lemuel Holland in fifty pounds Currant money of Maryland of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or Tenements Joyntly & Severally to be made and Levied to the Use of the said Lemuel Holland his heirs Executors administrators or assigns If it happen that the said John Williams do not during the term aforesaid Learn his said apprentice the Trade of a Ship wright and Read write and Cypher as far as the rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude doe not give him a broad ax and adz and a new Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common Wearing Cloaths and doe not provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term aforesaid &a Robert King Jun.r appointed Overseer of the Roads in Annamessex hundred in the stead of Thomas Williams J.r for the Ensuing Year &a Isaac Morris appointed Overseer of the Roads in the hundred of Pocomoke for the Ensuing Year in place and stead of John Pope &a
your petitioner Lives on part of Said Tract Your petitioner therefore humbly prays your worships will please to appoint Commissioners to perpetuate the bound of the said division and Your petitioner as in duty bound shall pray &a Thomas Willian The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid Thomas Willian have a Commission to perpetuate the Bound of the Land aforesaid and that Alexander Lackie Day Scot Robert Graham and Capwell King of Sommerset County Gents be Commissioners and Execute the same Commissioners according to Law &a |
