273 Thomas Newton be for the future Tax free as by the petition aforesaid is praid and Ordered that he be allowed One pound of tobacco as an Object &a Att the prayer of Robert Jenckins Henry Gentleman prosecutor of his Lordships pleas in Sommerset County Court It is Ordered that the Sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Handy Gentleman Return a pannell of Grand Jurors Immediately to Inquire for his Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary and the body of the County aforesaid in usuall manner &a Whereupon proclamation being made and the same Sheriffe to witt John Handy Gentleman returned a pannell of Grand Jurors in manner following viz.t William Waters William Jones Manny Wm Dashiell John Pope David Brown James Laws Isaac Coston Daniel Tingle John Flint John Johnson And.w Collins Richard Hall Leonard Johnson Thomas Reyley John Reed Jr Edward Kellam William Davis Ambross Willett John Marsy the Jurors aforesaid Impannelled being Severally Called Over Came as above and were Sworn and Charged to Inquire and sent Out to Consider &.a soon after the grand Jurors aforesaid being Impannelled sworn and Charged as aforesaid Return here into Court and being Severally Called Over appear and present to the Court here the following Indictmt against Nicholas Buckler John Roberts Thomas Roberts Marshall Townsend and Nicholas Buckler all Ignoramus and presentmt against Martha Wait Thereupon the grand Jurors aforesaid are discharged and allowed five hundred pounds of tobacco for their publick Service this Court and Ordered that against the aforesaid Martha Wait so as aforesaid presented Capias Issue Returnable here to next Court &a Upon the motion of Robert Jenckins Henry Gent his Lordships attorney It is Ordered by the Court here that he have full Liberty to Order Out all Such Subpenas as he Shall think necessary to Testifie to the grand Jury on behalfe of his Lordship against any person or persons whatsoever &.a
Twentieth day of March than next following the said apprentice to Serve his said master the full term aforesaid during which term he the said apprentice his said master well and faithfully he shall serve his Secrets Keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willingly he shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice shall demean himselfe towards his said master and all his dureing the |
