266 promise and assumption to the Same John Kilbee by the aforesaid William King made and not performed whereof he is Convict and the Same day is given to the aforesaid John Kilbee there &c Att which day here Came the aforesaid John Kilbee by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney and the Sherr of Sommerset County to witt John Handy Gent at the Same day now here Returned that he had Taken the aforesaid William King whose body here at this day he had here Ready to Satisfie the aforesaid John Kilbee of his damages aforesaid as to him it was Commanded And the said William King being by the said Sheriffe Ledd to the Barr is asked by the Court here if he was the very same William the same person which the same John Kilbee in the damages aforesaid above Convicted or not who says that he is Therefore the Same William King is Committed to the prison of the Sheriffe afd there to remain in safe Custody untill the the Same John Kilbee of the damages aforesaid should be fully Satisfied &c
one to satisfie Elias Evans of thirteen pounds Six shillings and Eight pence Curr.t money of Maryland and three hundred and six pounds of tobacco which to the same Elias Evans in the said Court before his Lordships Justices were adjudged for his Damages which he had by Occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the same Elias by the af.d Peter made and not performed whereof he is Convict and the same day is given to the af.d Elias here &c Att which day here Came the af.d Elias Evans by Francis Allen his Attorney and the sheriffe of Somerset County (to witt) John Handy Gent at the same day now here returned that he had taken the af.d Peter Taylor whose body here at this day he had ready to satisfie the af.d Elias Evans of his damages af.d as to him it was Commanded
Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of March Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and forty one to Satisfie Francis Allen of Twenty pounds Currt money of maryland and four hundred and thirteen pounds of tobacco which to the same Francis Allen in the said Court before his Lordships Justices were adjudged for the damages which he sustained by Occasion of the speaking and divulging Certain scandelous words of the af.d Francis by the af.d Peter in the County ^as^ published and divulged whereof he is Convict and the same day is given to the af.d Francis here &.c Att which day here Came the af.d Francis Allen in his own proper person and the sheriffe to witt John Handy Gentleman at the same day |
