promise and Assumption to the same Comfort Jenckinson by the af.d Heber made and not performed
whereof he is Convict &c and the same day is given to the af.d Comfort here &c

                      Att which day here Came the af.d Comfort Jenckinson by George Douglas her Attorney
and the sheriffe of S to witt John Handy Gent at the same day now here returned that he had taken the
af.d Heber Whittingham whose body here at this day he had ready to satisfie the af.d Comfort of the
damages af.d as to him it was Commanded &c

    Command was given to the sheriffe of Somerset County that he should
Take Seward Tomlinson late of Somerset County planter otherwise Called Seward
Tomlinson of Somerset County in the province of Maryland planter if he should
be found in his bailywick and him ^should^ safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of
his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek the third Tuesday of March Anno
Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty one to satisfie Joseph Houston as well a Certain debt of forty
pounds Curr.t money of Maryland in silver or whole Gold or Eighty pounds paper money of Maryland
which the same Joseph Houston in his Lordships County County Court of Somerset before the af.d Justices
thereof at dividing Creek recovered against him as of four hundred and fifteen pounds of tobacco which
the same Joseph Houston in the same Court were adjudged for his Damages which he had by Occasion
of the detention of that same debt whereof he is Convict &c  and the same day is given to the af.d Joseph
here &c
                                  Att which day here Came the af.d Joseph Houston by George Douglas his Attorney and
the sheriffe to witt John Handy Gent at the same day now here returned that he had taken the af.d Seward
Tomlinson whose body here at this day he had ready to satisfie the af.d Joseph of the debt and Damages
af.d as to him it was Commanded &c

Take William King Late of Somerset County Inholder if he should be found in
in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before
the Justices of his Lordships County Court of somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday
of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty one to Satisfie unto John Kilbee of
of five pounds Eleven shillings and Six pence Curr.t money of Maryland and two hundred and fifty
four pounds of tobacco which to the same John Kilbee in his Lordships County Court of Somerset before
the af.d Justices thereof at Dividing Creek were adjudged for his Damages which he had by Occasion of a Certain
