Testify the date of which is the same day and Year aforesaid &.a pledges      Jno Doe

                                                                                                                   Rchd Roe

                  And the aforesaid Stephen Coston by George Douglas his attorney Comes and defends the
force and Injury when &.a and Says that he Cannot deny the action aforesaid of the aforesaid Thomas Lee
nor Can he say but that the writing Obligatory aforesaid is the deed of the Same Stephen nor but that he
Owes the Same Thomas the aforesaid One hundred pounds Currant money of Maryland in manner and
form as the aforesaid Thomas above against him hath declared &a

                      Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid Thomas Lee Recover against the
aforesaid Stephen Coston his debt aforesaid and his damages by Occasion of the detention of the same
debt to Two hundred and ninety four                                             pounds of tobacco to the Same Thomas
of his assent by the Court here adjudged and the aforesaid Stephen in Mercy &a

     Command was given to the Sheriffe of Sommerset County that he Should Take
John Lamberson Late of Sommerset County planter al dict John Lamberson of the
County of Somerset in the province of Maryland planter if he Should be found in his
bailywick and him should safe Keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Sommerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June Ann Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and forty One to answer unto Thomas Fletcher of a plea that he render unto him One hundred
and forty pounds Curr.t money of Maryland which to him he Owes and unjustly detaines &.a and the same
day is given to the aforesaid Thomas here &a

                    Att which day here Came the aforesaid Thomas Fletcher by Francis Allen his attorney and the
Sheriffe of Sommerset County to witt John Handy Gentleman at the same day Returned that he had Taken
the aforesaid John Lamberson whose body at this day he had here ready to answer unto the aforesaid Thomas
Fletcher of the aforesaid plea as to him it was Commanded &a

          Whereupon the aforesaid John lamberson being present herein Court at the prayer of the afd
Thomas Fletcher is adjudged to give Speciall Bail to the action aforesaid

          Thereupon a Certain Robert Lamberson and Robert Lindall of Sommerset County planters both
present here in Court in their proper persons undertook and Each of them undertook for the said John Lamberson
(Likewise the said John Lamberson present here in Court in his proper person assumed upon himselfe)
that if it should happen that Judgment in the plea aforesaid should be rendered for the aforesaid Thomas
Fletcher against the Same John Lamberson or that the same John Lamberson should be therein Convict
that then he the said John Lamberson should pay and Satisfie unto the said Thomas Fletcher the Judgmt
of the Court thereupon or Render his body in Execution of Such Judgm.t to the prison of the Sheriffe of
