pounds fifteen shillings Curr.t money of Maryland in manner and form as the af.d Charles Carroll above against
him hath declared &c
                                        Therefore it is Considered that the af.d Charles Carroll recover against the af.d Samuell
MccClester is debt af.d and his Damages by Occasion of detention of the same debt to
409                   pounds of tobacco to the same Charles Carroll of his assent by the Court here adjudged and the
af.d Samuel MccClester in mercy &c

 Sommerset ss    Elias Lamberson late of Sommerset County planter Otherwise
Called Elias Lamberson of Somerset in Maryland was Summoned to answer
unto Ralph Corbin of a plea that he Render unto him nine pounds Currant
money of Maryland which to him he Owes and unjustly detains &c

                   And Whereupon the said Ralph by George Douglas his attorney says that whereas the said
Elias on the xviij day of July Ann Dom MDCCXL at Accomack viz at the County aforesaid by his Certain Writing
Obligatory which the Said Ralph sealed with the Seal of the said Elias hereinto Court brings whose date is the same
day and Year aforesaid did acknowledge himselfe to be held and firmly bound to the said Ralph in the said sum
of nine pounds to be paid to the said Ralph when he should be thereto afterwards Required and to the payment
thereof did bind himselfe his heirs &.a by that writing  Nevertheless the said Elias the said nine pounds to the said
Ralph hath not Rendered but that to doe hitherto hath denyed and Still doth deny and Unjustly detain altho'
thereto afterwards to witt the xxvi day of december in the Year aforesaid at the County aforesaid and often
since that time by the said Ralph required to his damage of Twenty pounds Currant money of Maryland and
thereof he brings suit &.a                                                                        Pledgs &c  Jno Doe

                                              And the aforesaid Elias Lamberson by William Arbuckle his attorney Comes
defends the force and Injury when &.a  and Says that he Cannot deny the action aforesaid of the aforesaid Ralph nor
but that the writing Obligatory aforesaid is the deed of the Same Elias nor but that he Owes the Same Ralph
the aforesaid nine pounds Currant money of Maryland in manner and form as the aforesaid Ralph above against
him declared &a

                      Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid Ralph Corbin Recover against the aforesaid
Elias Lamberson his debt aforesaid and his damages by Occasion of the detention of the Same debt to One hundred &
ninety One pounds of tobacco to the Same Ralph of his assent by the Court here adjudged and the aforesaid Elias in
mercy &c
