24 faithfully promise that he the same Francis the af.d thirteen pounds hundred Seventy and four pounds of tobacco and two pounds one Shilling and three pence Currt money af.d to the same Henry Lawes when thereof afterwards he should be requested would well and faithfully pay and Content and altho the af.d Francis five hundred Sixty and one pounds of tobacco and the sum of one pound three Shillings and nine pence Currt money af.d part of the af.d thirteen hundred Seventy and four pounds of tobacco and two pounds one Shilling and three pence unto the same Henry Lawes hath since paid and Satisfied Nevertheless as to eight hundred and thirteen pounds of tobacco and Seventeen Shillings and Six pence of the af.d One thousand three hundred seventy and four pounds of tobacco and two pounds one Shilling and three pence residue the af.d Francis his promise and assumption af.d in form af.d made Little regarding but minding and fraudulently intending the same Henry Lawes in this part Craftilly and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the said eight hundred and thirteen pounds of tobacco and Seventeen Shillings and six pence or any part of the said Last mentioned sum of money or tobacco to the same Henry Lawes (Altho the same to do afterwards to witt the same day and year and often since that time at the said County of Somerset by the same Henry Lawes he was requested hath not paid or for the same hetherto in any sort Contented but the same to him to pay or Content hath altogether refused and still doth refuse Whereupon the same Henry Lawes says he is worse and hath damage to the value of twenty pounds Currt money of maryland and thereof he brings suit &.a Pledges &.a J Doe & R Roe
