and of her body then and there had Carnal knowledge and a bastard Child on the body of her the same Mary
then and there did beget to the high displeasure of Allmighty God to the evill Example of all others in
such Case offending Contrary to the peace of the right honourable the Lord proprietary that now is his good
rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Some Assembly in such Case lately made and provided &a
Whereupon the same Attorney of the same Lord proprietary ^for the Same Lord proprietary^ prays the advice of the Court herein the premisses
and that due process of Law in this part ^against the same Absolum Hobbs^ may be made to answer unto the same Lord proprietary of and upon the
premisses &c
                         Thereupon Command is to the sheriffe of the County af.d that he should take the said Absolum
Hobbs if &.c to answer &c  And now to witt at that same Court held for the County af.d at dividing Creek this
Sixteenth day of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty one before the af.d Justices Came the
af.d Absolum Hobbs in his proper person According to a Certain recognizance by him and his Security in this part
first acknowledged and had a hearing of the Information af.d and saith that he Cannot deny but that he is guilty
of the premisses af.d in the Information af.d specified in manner and form as by the Information af.d above upon
him Supposed and is willing to pay his fine for the fact af.d &c

                      Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being seen and by the Court here fully understood  It is
Considered by the Court here that the af.d Absolum Hobbs pay unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary for his fine
by the Court here upon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses af.d whereof in form af.d he is Convict
thirty shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that the said Absolum be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of
the fine af.d &c
                               Whereupon the said Absolum Hobbs is ordered to give Security to save and keep Indemnified
the Justices of Somerset County and their Successors from all troubles and Charges that might accrew by means
of the birth maintainance and bringing up of the Child af.d &c

                      Thereupon the said Absolum Hobbs with George Dashiell of Somerset County Gent his Security
both present herein Court in their proper persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord
proprietary in thirty pounds Curr.t money of Maryland of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements to the
use of his said Lordshiph his heirs and Successors Severally to be made and Levied  If it happen that the said
Absolum Hobbs and George Dashiell their heirs Ex.rs ^and^ Adm.rs or any or either of them doe not from time to time and
at all times forever hereafter acquit discharge and save harmless as well the Justices of the County Court of Somerset
for the time being as also the Inhabitants of said County of and from all Costs Charges and burthens whatsoever for
or by reason of the birth maintainance nourishing and bringing up the Child af.d and of and from all other suits
Charges troubles and demands whatsoever touching or Concerning of the same &a            thereupon the said Absolum
Hobbs is discharged of and from the premisses af.d he paying the Severall fees due by means of the premisses af.d &c
