Upon the petition of Margaret Caines a pore ancient woman for amaintainance &.a  It is
          Ordered by the Court here that the said Margarett Caines be allowed three pounds Curr.t money of
Maryland at the next Levey Court &a

     Command was given to the sheriffe of Somerset County that he should
take Benjamin Sharp Late of Somerset County Shipwright if he should be
found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices
of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of June
Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty to Answer unto William Gray of Nanticoke
of a plea that he render unto him eight hundred ninety and two pounds of tobacco which to
him he owes and unjustly detains &.a and the same day is given to the af.d William here &.a

Att which day here Came the af.d William Gray by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney and
the Sheriffe to witt John Henry Gent now here returned that he had taken the af.d Benjamin
Sharp whose body here at this day he had ready to Answer the af.d William of the af.d plea as
to him it was Commanded                  And hereupon the said William declared against the af.d
Benjamin in the plea af.d in form Following   Somerset sst  Benjamin Sharp late of Somerset
County Shipwright was Summoned to Answer unto William Gray of Nanticoke of a plea
that he render unto him eight hundred ninety and two pounds of tobacco which to him he owes
and unjustly detains &.a

       And Whereupon the same William by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney says
that whereas the af.d William in August term in the year of our Lord one thousand seven
hundred thirty and four in the County Court of the right honourable the Lord proprietary that now
is of Somerset County before Robert King Esq.r and his associates the said Lord proprietarys his
then Justices of the same County Court here to witt at dividing Creek in the County af.d by the
Consideration of the same Court had recovered against the said Benjamin by the name of
Benjamin Sharp the af.d sum of eight hundred ninety and two pounds of tobacco which unto
