said Peter Claywell Jun.r do not keep good Rules and orders and do not suffer Idle Loose or
disorderly persons to tipple game or Commit disorders or other Irregularities in his ordinary or
house of Entertainment dureing the time that he shall keep the same Contrary to the tenor
Intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such Case made and provided &.a

David Murray of Somerset County Inholder

Came here into Court in his proper person and prays that he may
    have the Liberty to keep an ordinary or house of Entertainment in the County afd
for the use and Conveniency of the Inhabitants travellers and strangers as to them
Respectively shall seem meet which is by the Court here unto him granted he giveing
Security to Comply with the act of assembly in such Case made and provided

                         Whereupon the same David Murray with James Martin ^and Samuel Hopkins^ of Somerset
County Gent his securitys present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto his Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary of
Maryland in the full and just sum of five pounds Currt money of said Province
of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements severally to be made and Levied
to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors  If it happen that the said
David Murray do not pay and Satisifie unto the sheriffe of the County af.d for the
time being fifty Shillings Currt money of the province af.d Yearly and every year
he shall keep such ordinary or house of Entertainment as af.d &.a

                            Likewise the said David Murray with the af.d James Martin ^and Samuel Hopkins^ his
Securitys af.d all present herein Court in their proper persons as af.d acknowledged
themselves Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord Proprietary in forty pounds
Currt money of maryland of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements
Severally to be made and Levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and
Successors      If it happen that the said David Murray do not keep good Rules and
Orders and do not Suffer Idle Loose or disorderly persons to tipple game or Commit
disorders or other Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment during
the time that he shall keep the same Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the
act of assembly in Such Case made and Provided &.a
