Security in manner following
                                                       Thereupon the said Patrick Connelly together with James Anderson of Sommerset
County planter Jarrot Wiley of the same place planter and William Beavins of the same place planter his Securitys all
present here in Court in their propersons acknowledged themselves to Owe unto his Lordship the Right Honourable the
Lord Proprietary of the province of Maryland in manner and form following vizt  The aforesaid Patrick Connelly in
Two hundred pounds Currant money of the Province afd and the afd James Anderson Jarrot Wiley and William Beavins
in Sixty six pounds thirteen shillings and four pence Each Like money of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements
Severally to be made and Levied to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors

                      If it happen that the said Patrick Connelly do not make his personall appearance before the
Justices of his said Lordships Provinciall Court to be held at the City of Annapolis the second Tuesday of Aprill then next
following and do not answer unto his said Lordship of and Concerning all Such matters and things as shall be then and
there Objected against him on his said Lordships Behalfe and do not stand and abide the Judgmt of the Court thereon
and do depart the Same Court without Leave and in the mean time if he keep not the peace and be not of the good
behaviour to all his ^said^ Lordships good people &a

Lycence and Recognizance

                          Peter Claywell Jun.r of Somerset County Inholder
Came here into Court in his proper person and prays that he may be
permitted to keep an Ordinary or house of Entertainment in the County af.d for the use and
Conveniency of the Inhabitants travellers and strangers as to them Respectively shall seem meet
which is by the Court here unto him granted he giveing Security to Comply with the act of assembly
in such Case made and Provided &.a

                                     Whereupon the same Peter Claywell with Hutton Hill and Jonathan Sturgiss
of Somerset County planters his securitys present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged
themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary of maryland
in the full and Just sum of five pounds Currt money of said Province of their bodys goods or
Chattles Lands or Tenements Severally to be made and Levied to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors
If it happen that the said Peter Claywell J.r do not pay and Satisfie unto the Sheriffe of the County aforesaid for the
time being fifty Shillings Currant money of the province afd Yearly and Every Year he shall Keep such Ordinary or house
of Entertainment as afd &a                     Likewise the said Peter Claywell with the af.d Hutton Hill and
Jonathan Sturgiss his securitys af.d all present herein Court in their proper persons as aforesaid
acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord Proprietary in forty pounds
Currt money of maryland of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements severally to be
made and levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors if it happen that the
