worships would be pleased to appoint some Gentlemen to Lay them of a road from Jarrad Wiley on broad Creek over the
great branch below Ezekiel Parramores up the neck to William Kings in Wimbasocknon and also to appoint an overseer
and the within mentioned persons your petitioners as in duty bound shall pray &a

                               The petition aforesaid being Reard and heard    It is Ordered that Mitchell Dashiell of Somerset
County Gentleman Lay Out and direct a road from the aforesaid Jarrard Wiles into Wimbesocknun neck and that the
aforesaid Robert Downs be Overseer thereof and that the afd Dashiell appoint him his Labourers &a

Sommerset sst     To the Worshipfull the Justices of Sommerset County now in Court
Judicially sitting     The Humble petition of Thomas Layfield humbly sheweth
That your petitioner is seized of and in a Certain Tract of Land Called Fruitfull plane
Scituated in the said County of Sommerset the boundarys whereof are now ancient and in [illegible] your
petitioner therefore pray that Commissioners may be appointed in Order to Examine Evidences and take
depositions for perpetrating the memory of the bounders of the said tract of Land according to the directions
of the art of assembly in such Case Lately made and provided   and your petitioner as in duty bound
shall ever pray &a
                               The petition aforesaid being reard and heard and fully understood   It is Considered
by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the aforesaid Thomas Layfield and that Aaron Lynn Thomas
Collier John Kilbee and William Draper of Sommerset County Gent be Commissioners and Examine Evidences
and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &a


       Joseph Porter of the Seaside in Sommerset County planter and prays that (forasmuch as his negro Duncan
is very sickly Ancient and Infirm and past his Labour) he may be tax free for the future &a

                It is Considered that the said negro Duncan be Tax free for the future as aforesaid is praid &a


John Fasit Came hereinto Court in his proper person and prays that his negro man named Lowey may
be Tax free for the future he being ancient and Infirm and past his Labour &a

                      Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid John Fasit be discharged
from paying of Taxes for the said negro Lowey for the future &a

     To the Worshipfull Justices of Sommerset County now in Court Sitting the Humble petition
of Sundry the Inhabitants of mattapony hundred most humbly sheweth    That whereas Mattapony
Landing is Very Convenient to Sundry of us in transporting of Our Corn and tobacco to markett and there is only a private
Road [illegible] to the said landing and that very Bad   Your petitioners therefore only prays that your
worships will Order a road from the County Road by M.r Claywells down to the said Landing which will be of great
