and heard the said Benjamin saith that the af.d William after the makeing of the note ^afd^ and before the twenty ninth day of
September in the said note above Specified his writt af.d for the debt af.d against him the said Benjamin did Impetrate and
this he is ready to Verifie wherefore he prays Judgment of the writt af.d and that the said writt may be quashed &c

                   And Whereupon the af.d William Lockwood prays leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court to be held at
dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November then next Following and he hath it and the same day is given to the af.d
Benjamin Warrington here also &c

                   Att which day here Came the af.d William Lockwood as the af.d Benjamin Warrington
by their Attorneys af.d and hereupon the said Benjamin Warrington Relinquisheth his Certification ^aforesaid^ by him af.d ^above^ pretended
and saith that he Cannot deny the Action af.d of the af.d William Lockwood nor but that he did assume upon himself in
manner and form as the af.d William Lockwood above against him hath Complained and as to the damage of the ^said^ William
by him by Occasion of the premisses in that part Sustained the same Benjamin saith and Acknowledgeth that the af.d
William hath Sustained damages by him by Occasion of the premisses beyond his Costs and Charges by him about his
suit in that part apposed to Four pounds Curr.t money of maryland and not more and because the af.d William denys
not this but the same allegation grants to be true prays Judgment for those damages above acknowledged together with
his Costs and Charges af.d to him to be adjudged

                                  Therefore by Consent of the parties af.d it is Considered that the af.d William Lockwood recover
against the af.d Benjamin Warrington his damages af.d to the af.d Four pounds Curr.t money of Maryland by the
377    same Benjamin ^in form aforesaid acknowledged^ as also:                          : pounds of tobacco for his Costs and
Charges af.d to the same William at his request by the Court now here of the Assent of the parties af.d adjudged which
Certain damages in the whole amounts to Four pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and:
                                                 pounds of tobacco with stay of Execution untill the first day of March next Following
and the af.d Benjamin in mercy &c

all of Somerset County Gent Greeting know ye that we have appointed you or any three or two of you to be our Commissioners
to Examine Evidences on behalf of a Certain Joseph Dashiell of the County af.d in Relation to the bounders of a division
of a Certain tract of land Called Meeches Hope and Rich Swamp lying and being in the County af.d   We therefore require
you or any three or two of two you at some time and place as to you or any three or two of you shall seem Convenient you meet
