to Judgment against Either of the parties af.d as if the Cause were determined by the Court and
it is further agreed by and between the plantiffe and defendent af.d that that Submission af.d in
manner and form af.d made according to the force form and Effect of the statute in such Case lately
made and provided be Entred and made a Rule of this Court on the motion of the parties af.d
and afterwards in the same Court before the Justices thereof Came the af.d Arbitrators and made
Return of their arbitrament in the premisses af.d between the parties af.d in manner Following

          Wee the Subscribers Arbitrators Indeffrently Chosen and Elected between John Dennis
Jun.r and Francis Allen Sen.r in an action depending in Somerset County we do award that
the said Francis Allen Sen.r pay to the said John Dennis the sum of two thousand six hundred
and fifty five pounds of tobacco with Cost of the Court thereon in full of all accounts to us
Committed as witness our hands and seals this 25.th day of November 1741         Geo Dashiell (seal)

                         Which being Read and heard and by the Court here fully understood  It is
Considered that by the Court here that the af.d John Dennis Jun.r Recover against the af.d
Francis Allen Sen.r his damages af.d to the af.d two thousand six hundred and fifty five pounds
365    of tobacco by the arbitrators af.d in form af.d assessed as also
Pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges af.d to the same John now here of his assent adjudged
and the af.d Francis in Mercy &.a

 Somerset     Be it remembred that on the Eighteenth day of November Anno Dom MDCCXL
before John Scott Gent and his Associates his Lordships Justices of the peace for the said County
to Conserve assigned in Court Judicially sitting Came John Purnall Gent by George Douglas his
Attorney and exhibited to the said Justices his Certain bill against Francis Allen Gent one of the Attorneys of this Court
herein Court present in his proper person the tenor whereof is as follows

             Somerset ss   John Purnall Gent by Geo Douglas his Attorney Complains of Francis Allen Gent one of the
attorneys of this Court herein Court present in his proper person for that whereas the said Francis on the first day of
december Anno Dom MDCCXXXvij at the County af.d was Indebted to the said John in the quantity of five thousand
pounds of tobacco for the like quantity of tobacco to a Certain Charles Crason by the said John at the Especiall
request and Instance of the said Francis before that time paid and being so thereof indebted afterwards to wit on the
