180 Month Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty one before his said Lordships Justices at dividing Creek Came the af.d Elizabeth Carey in her proper person and had a hearing of the Indictment af.d and saith that she Cannot deny but that she is Guilty of the premisses af.d in the Indictment af.d Specified in manner and form as by the Indictment af.d above against her supposed and the premisses af.d in the Indictment af.d expressly Acknowledgeth and maketh Oath that a Certain Deed saith is the begetter of the bastard Child she stands Indicted for and is willing to pay her fine for the fact af.d &c Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being seen and by the Court here fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that the af.d Elizabeth Carey pay unto his said Lordship the Right Honourable Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the province of Maryland for her fine by the Court hereupon her Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses af.d whereof in form af.d she is Convict thirty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that the said Elizabeth Carey be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine af.d &c Whereupon the said Elizabeth Carey is Ordered to give good Security for the payment of all fee of Fees due on the Indictment af.d to any person or persons whatsoever Thereupon a Certain John Tatman of Somerset County planter present herein Court undertook for the said Elizabeth Carey to pay all fee or fees due unto any person or persons whatsoever on the Indictment af.d in Case the said Elizabeth Carey doth not pay the same &c Marjoram Mallard appears according to her Recognizance Entered into Last Court to give Evidence against a Certain Charles Cade and was discharged therefrom &c Jane Haines appears according to her Recognizance Entred into Last Court to give Evidence against a Certain Michael Redding and was discharged therefrom &c Rachell Barnett appears according to her Recognizance Entred into Last Court to give Evidence against a Certain Gammage Evans and was discharged therefrom &c Sarah Summers appears According to her Recognizance Entred into Last Court to give Evidence against a Certain John Parkes and was discharged therefrom &c Thomas Pingally Came hereinto Court in his proper person according to a certain Recognizance by him and his Security in this part first Acknowledged and prays that his appearance may be recorded and he and his Security discharged &a Thereupon the said Thomas Pingillys appearance is Recorded and he and his security discharged from the said recognizance he the said Thomas Pingally paying all fees due by means of the Recognizance aforesaid &a George Taylor Came hereinto Court in his proper person According to a certain Recognizance by him and his Security in that part first Acknowledged and prays that his appearance may be recorded and he and his Security discharged &c Thereupon the said George Taylors appearance is recorded and he and his Security discharged from the said recognizance he the said George Taylor paying all fees due by means of the Recognizance af.d &c Signey Brown Came hereinto Court in his proper person According to a Certain Recognizance by him and his Security in that part |
