provide for her said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for Such an apprentice to have and wear
during her servitude aforesaid &a    And further it is Ordered by the Court here that a Certain Mary Horsey sister to the afd
Sarah Horsey deliver up unto the afd Hannah Turpin all the Estate of the afd Sarah Horsey that she hath in her hands and
of Right to belong &c


Joshua Merrill of Sommerset County Gent brings his negro boy into Court Called Derry and
prays the Judgment of the Court here how old the said Derry was at this day &.a  Whereupon the said
negro Derry is adjudged by the Court here to be of the age Ten Years &a

Sommerset ss    Memorandum  That at a Court of his Lordships the Right Honourable
the Lord Proprietary of the Province of Maryland held at dividing Creek in Sommerset
County the third Tuesday of June to witt the Sixteenth day of the Same month Anno Dom
one thousand seven hundred and forty one before his said Lordships Justices the peace in the County af.d to keep assigned
by the Oath of twelve Jurors being presented that Elisabeth Carey of Stepney parish in the County af.d Spinster the first
day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty at the parish af.d in the County af.d and within the
Jurisdiction of this Court did Comit fornication with a Certain person to the Jurors af.d unknown and did permit the same
unknown person then and there to have Carnall knowledge of her body and then and there to beget a bastard Child on the body
of her the same Elizabeth Carey to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evill Example of all others in Such Case
offending Contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the form
of the Act of Assembly in such Case lately made and provided &c

          Thereupon it is Commanded the sheriffe of the County of Somerset County that he should take the said Elizabeth
Carey if she should be found in his bailywick and her should safe keep so that he might have her body before the Justices of his
Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of august One thousand seven hundred &
forty one to answer unto his said Lordship of the Indictment af.d

          And now to witt at a Court held for the County af.d the third tuesday of November being the Seventeenth day of the same
