       August Court                                       1741                           144

proper persons as af.d Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary in forty pounds Curr
money of Maryland of their bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements Severally to be made and Levied to the use of his said
Lordship his heirs and Successors  If it happen that the said William Porter do not keep good rules and orders and do Suffer
Idle loar and disorderly persons to tipple game or Commit disorders or other Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment
during the time that he shall keep the Same Contrary to the true intent and meaning of the act of Assembly in such Case made & provided &c



                                                 Pursuant to an act of assembly of the province of Maryland now in force the Justices
of Sommerset County in Court Judicially Sitting did assess the Rates and prices of Lyquors and other accomodations
in firm following vizt



     Rum p Gallon and so for a greater or Lesser quantity
     Country Brandy of Gallon and so pro rato
     Cyder and Quince drink p Gallon and so pro rato
     French Brandy p Gallon and so pro rato
     White wine and Clarett p bottle
     Port Wine p bottle
     Canary and Sherry wines p bottle
     Good medaria wine p quart
     Rennish wine p pint bottle
     English Strong beer by the bottle well wired
     Country Strong beer p the Quart
     Small beer p the quart
     Rum punch with water Lime Juice and double refined Sugar 2/ with Limes or Lemons p quart
     Ditto with Single refined Sugar and Line Juice p quart
     Ditto with Clayed Sugar and Lime Juce p quart
     Ditto with Single refined Sugar without Lime Juice p quart
     Ditto with Clayed Sugar without Lime Juice p quart
     Ditto with Muscavado Sugar and Lime Juice p quart
     Ditto without Lime Juice p quart
     Flipp p Quart
     French branch punch with double refined Sugar and Lime Juce p quart
     Ditto Punch with Limes or Lemmons p quart
     Punch made with Country Brandy Lime Juice and muscavado Sugar
     Victualls fresh and hott not eaten of before that is Roasted bould or baked with wheat bread and small beer or
     Cyder p meal
     Cold Victuas or braken meat with wheat bread and small beer or Cyder p meal
     Lodging p night
     Horse Stableing with Food or hay p night
     Horse pastureing 24 hours and so for a Longer or shorter time
     Oates and Indian Corn p bushell and so pro Rato
     Fial wine p quart and so pro Rato
