          June Court                                   1741                            130

Somerset at dividing Creek recovered against him as of Two hundred and ninety Seven pounds of Tobacco which to the same
Joseph Ennalls in the same Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by Occasion of the detention of that same debt
whereof he is Convict &c and the same day is given to the af.d Joseph here &c

                       Att which day here Came the af.d Joseph Ennalls by Francis Allen his Attorney and the sheriffe of Somerset Coty
(to witt) John Handy Gent at the same day now here returned that he had taken the af.d Joseph Records whose body here at this day
he had ready to satisfy the af.d Joseph of the debt and damages af.d as to him it was Commanded

Joseph Maclayland
Command was given to the sheriffe of Somerset County that he should take Joseph Maclayland late of
Somerset County planter al.s dict Joseph Maclayland of Somerset County in the province of Maryland planter
if he should be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the
Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand
seven hundred and forty one to satisfie Joseph Ennalls as well a Certain debt of Seven pounds twelve shillings and three pence Currt
money of Maryland which to the same Joseph Ennalls in his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek recovered
against him as of one hundred and ninety Seven pounds of tobacco which to the same Joseph Ennalls in the same Court were adjudged
for his Damages which he had by Occasion of the detention of that same debt whereof he is Convict &c  And the same day is given to
the af.d Joseph here &c
                                           Att which day here Came the af.d Joseph Ennalls by Francis Allen his Attorney and the sheriffe of

  Francis Tate
    Command was given to the Sheriffe of Somerset County that he should take Francis Tate Late of Somerset
County planter al.s dicts Francis Tate of Somerset County Gentlemen if he Should be found in his Bailywick and
him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset
to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and forty ^one^ to satisfe Joseph Ennalls
as well a Certain debt of Sixty ^two^ pounds Curr.t money of Maryland which the same Joseph Ennalls in his Lordships County Court of
Somerset at dividing Creek recovered against him as of two hundred and ninety Seven pounds of tobacco which ^to^ the same Joseph in the
same Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by Occasion of the detention of that same debt whereof he is Convict &.c and
the same day is given to the af.d Joseph here &c

                                        Att which day here Came the aforesaid Joseph Ennalls by Francis Allen his attorney and the Sheriffe of Somerset
County to witt John Handy Gentleman at the Same day here Returned that he had Taken the aforesaid Francis Tate whose body
here at this day he had ready to Satisfie the aforesaid Joseph Ennalls of the debt and damages aforesaid as to him it was Commanded
And afterwards the same day and year aforesaid Came the aforesaid Francis Tate in his proper person and to the Barr now here
Led by the aforesaid sheriffe by virtue of the writt afd to the aforesaid sheriffe directed and by the Court being asked if he
was the very same Francis Tate the same person which the aforesaid Joseph Ennalls as well in the debt and damages afd
