115 Number fifteen (15) and lies at or on the Corner of Front and Fish Streets in said Town. It is nearly square and contains about one third of an acre and is improved with a two story frame dwelling and an attic. It has two rooms on the first two on the second floor and two in the attic; A kitchen attached and a servant's room above; a frame meat house a board stable carriage house and loft. The dwelling kitchen and meat house are in a fair state of repair. The Stable &c need considerable repairs. The Lot is enclosed with a pale and board fence which is not in complete order The rental value of the whole property as within described we have estimated at hone hundred and seventy five dollars per annum. To the two thirds part of which the said Francis C. Wickes and Mary E. Wickes are entitled in equal proportions that is each is entitled to the sum of Fifty Eighty 33⅓/100 dollars All which is respectfully submitted under our hands and Seals this twenty fifth day of July in the year eighteen hundred and seventy six Richd Hynson (seal) James A. Pearce (seal) And was duly recorded by Wm Stevens Register of Wills Kennedyville Kent Co Md July 31 1876 Appraisement and valuation of the Rental value of the Real Estate of Wm Janvier late of Kent County deceased made by us in dollars and cents we being first appointed and qualified according to law 1st we found a farm consisting of about 600 acres of land divided into nine fields of about fifty acres each of tillable land and 150 acres of marsh wood and ravines. There is upon this land a peach orchard of 4000 trees of no value to keep for any profit to raise fruit. There is a farm house and surrounding upon the farm all of which are in bad condition not suitable for a tenant to till the farm. There is also 3 small tenant houses on said farm in fair condition and also Stables and granary in good condition We have estimated the rental value of the above named real estate including the Tenant houses &c at twenty five hundred dollars ($2500) per annum. We think that three fields should be seeded in winter grain each and every year and at least two fields in corn each year (over) |
