96 province of maryland in the sum of five pounds Curr.t money of their goods and Chattles Lands and tennements Joyntly and severally to be made and levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors if it happen that the said James Anderson do and shall not pay unto his said Lordship fifty shillings Curr.t money of maryland for every year he shall keep such ordinary or house of entertainment &c Likewise the said James Anderson with Robert Givans and George Benston his security^s^ af.d all present herein Court in their proper persons af.d acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the sum of forty pounds Curr.t money of maryland of their goods and Chattles Lands and tennements Joyntly and severally to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied if it happen that the said James Anderson do not keep good rules and orders and do suffer Idle loose and disorderly persons to tipple ^game or^ Commit disorders or other Irregularities in his ordinary or house of entertainment dureing the time that he shall keep the same Contrary to the true intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such case made and provided &c
Gent and others his associates Justices of his the said Lord Proprietary the peace in the County afd to Conserve and also divers felonyes trespasses and other Malefeaseances in the same County Committed to hear and determine assigned by the Oath of William Holland and twelve others being presents that Isaiah Bredel late of all Hollows parish in the County af.d planter on the 1st Day of March Anno Dom 1736 did Commit wilful and Corrupt Perjury in sw^e^aring to a false account against the Estate of John Hamlin decs.d Late of Somerset County information made to us Grand jurors by James Mumford Thereupon Command was given to the Sheriffe of Somerset County that he should take the said Isaiah Bredel Late of Somerset County planter if he should be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of August then next to answer unto |
