96 unto his Lordship of and Concerning of the presentment afd and that thereof he should not fail &c Att which day here Came the said Isaiah Bredell in his proper person and thereupon the said Isaiah Bredell is ordered by the Court here appearance before his Lordships Justices of assize nisi prius oyer and terminer and Goal delivery to be held at dividing Creek in the Same County the first Tuesday of September then next to answer on Suspicion of perjury in the presentment afd which is ordered to be transmitted to ye same assise for their determinations &c Whereupon the said Isaiah Bredell with Charles Rackliffe of Somerset County Gent his Security both present herein Court in their proper persons and acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland in fifty pounds Sterling Each good and Lawfull money of England of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements severally to be made and Levied to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that the said Isaiah Bredell do and shall not make his personall appearance before the Justices of assize Nisi prius Oyer and terminer and Goal delivery to be held at dividing Creek the first Tuesday of September then next and do not answer unto his said Lordship on Suspicion of perjury afd and do not stand and abide the Judgment of the Court thereon and do depart the Same Court without Leave and in the mean time if he be not of the good behaviour towards his said Lordship and all his good people &c then &c Likewise Charles Rackliffe of Somerset County Gent Race Clarke James Mumford and Samuel Shewell of the Same County planters all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland in the Sum of Twenty pounds Sterling Each good and Lawfull money of England of their Severall goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors ^to be made & Levied^ If it happen that the said Charles Rackliffe Race Clarke James Mumford and Samuel Shewell do not make their personall appearance before his Said Lordships Justices of assize nisi prius Oyer and terminer and Goal delivery to be held at dividing Creek in the same County the first Tuesday of September then next and do not then and their give Such Evidence as they and Each of them shall know on behalfe of his ^said^ Lordship against the afd Isaiah Bredell on suspicion of perjury and do depart the Same Court without Leave &c Pursuant to an act of assembly of this province of Maryland Entituled an act for the Regulating of ordinarys &c the Justices of the County Court of Somerset did assess the rates and prices of Lyquors and other accomodations as followeth viz.t Rum p Gallon and so for a greater or Lesser quantity £0..8..0 |
