Whereupon the said Robert Geddes with Francis Allen and Cap.t Edward
Rownd both of the County af.d Gen.t his securitys all present herein Court
in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto His Lordship
the Lord proprietary of the province of maryland in the sum of five pounds
Curr.t money of their their goods and Chattles Lands ^and^ tennement Joyntly and
severally to be made and levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors
if it happen that the said Robert Geddes do and shall not pay unto unto his said
Lordship fifty shillings Curr.t money of maryland for ever year he shall keep
such ordinary or house of entertainment &c

    Likewise the said Robert Geddes with Francis Allen and Cap.t Edward
Rownd his securitys af.d all present herein Court in their proper persons af.d  
acknowledged themselves Indebted unto His Lordship the Lord proprietary
in the sum of forty pounds Curr.t money of maryland of their goods and Chattles
Lands and tennements Joyntly and severally to the use of his said Lordship his
heirs and Successors to be made and levied if it happen that the said Robert
Geddes do not keep good rules and orders and do suffer Idle loose and disorderly persons
to tipple game or Commit disorders or other Irregularities in his ordinary or house
of entertainment dureing the time that he shall keep the same Contrary to the
true intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such case made and provided
&c

hereinto Court in his proper person and prays that he may have
the Liberty to keep and ordinary or house of entertainment at                                                                                              
his house at princes Ann Town in the County af.d for the use and Conveniency of
the inhabitans travellers and Strangers as to them respectively shall seem mete
which is by the Court hereunto him granted he giving security ^according^ to act of assembly
in such case made and provided &c

Whereupon the said James Anderson with Robert Givans and George Benston both of
the County af.d Gen.t his securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons
acknowledged themselves Indebted unto His Lordship the Lord proprietary of the
