Child on the body of her the same Eliz.a then and then did beget to the high displeasure of almighty God
to the Evil Example of all others in such case offending Contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that
now is his good Rule and Government And against the form of Act of assembly in such case lately made and
provided &.c  Whereupon the said attorney of the said Lord proprietary for the same Lord proprietary prays
the advice of the Court herein the premisses ^and^ that due process of Law in this part may be made against
the af.d John to answer unto the said Lord proprietary of and upon the premisses &c

Thereupon Command was given to the sheriff of Somerset County that he should take the said John
Leathurbury if &.c to answer &.c  Afterwards to witt the fifteenth day of March Anno Dom one thousand
seven hundred and thirty six before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here
held in the Court house at dividing Creek in and for the same Court Comes the same John Leatherbury in
his proper person and had a hearing of the Information afd and being thereupon Instantly demaded
how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd as by the Information afd above
upon him Imposed saith that the premisses afd above upon him Imposed he is guilty thereof &c

       Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here Seen heard and fully understood
It is Considered that the afd John Leatherbury pay unto his Lordship the Lord Prop.ry
for the Use of Somerset County for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed for and
by Occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form afd he is Convicted thirty Shillings Currt
money of Mary and that he the said John Leatherbury be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of
the fine afd &c  Col Gale to pay fees &c

                                       The Jurors for the Right honourable the Lord proprietary that
now is for the body of Somerset County af.d upon their oath do present that Jane Tucker late
of all hallows parish in the County af.d Spinster the tenth day of March Anno Dom seventeen
hundred thirty and six at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Commit
fornication with a Certain person to the Jurors af.d unknown and did permit the same unknown person
then and there to have carnal knowledge of her body and to beget then and there a basterd Child on the
body of her the same Jane to the high displeasure of almighty God to the vil evil Example of all others
in such case offending contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good Rule
and Government and against the form of the Act of assembly in such case lately made and provided &c
