in their bailywick and him should safe keep so that they might have his body before
the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek
in the same County the third tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred
thirty seven to satisfie Joshua Caldwell of twenty three pounds twelve shillings and
four pence Curr.t money of maryland and eleven hundred and eighty two pounds of
tobacco which to the same Joshua in the same Court before the Justices thereof at
dividing Creek af.d were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of a Certain
promise and assumption to the same Joshua by the af.d Joseph made and not
performed whereof he is Convict &c         Att which day here before the Justices
of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek Came the af.d Coroners
to witt Henry Ballard and W.m Lane Gen.t and at the same day here returned that
they had taken the af.d Joseph M,ccClester whose body here at this day they had
ready to satisfie &c as to them it was Commanded   You Joseph M.ccClester Benj.a
Townsend and Daniel Cordery doe Confess Judgment to Joshua Caldwell for the sum
of twenty three pounds twelve shillings and four pence Curr.t money of maryland
and eleven hundred and eighty two pounds of tobacco which sum was recovered
by the said Joshua Caldwell against Joseph M.ccClester on the fifteenth day of
march last in the Somerset County Court the said money and tobacco to be Levied
of your bodies goods or Chattles Lands or tennemenets for the use of the said Joshua
Caldwell in case the afd Joseph M.ccClester shall not pay and satisfy to the said
Joshua Caldwell the said sum of twenty three pounds twelve shillings and four pence
and eleven hundred and eighty two pounds of tobacco so as af.d Recovered against him
with the aditional Cost thereon on the tenth day of february next June 21.st 1737

take Thomas Adams late of Somerset County Sawyer if he should
be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might
