       March Court          1736                    7

Acknowledged and prays that his appearance may be recorded and he and his security accordingly discharged
thereupon the said Thomas Halls [illegible] recorded & he & his Security discharged &a

             Whereupon [illegible] to give Security for the payment of the severall
[illegible] and Indictment af.d &c   Thereupon [illegible]
Thomas Langford [illegible] herein [illegible] undertook
for the same Thomas Hall and acknowledged himself indebted unto his Lordship the Lord
proprietary in the sum of five hundred pounds of tobacco of his body goods or Chattells Lands or
tenements for the use of the severall officers of Somerset County Court (that hath Right to any Fee
of Fees upon the Recognizance and Indictm.t af.d) their heirs or assignes to be made and Levied
In Case the said Thomas Hall do not pay and Satisfie unto the severall officers af.d their Just
Fee or fees due as af.d &c

                                       The Jurors for th Right Honourable the Lord proprietary
that now is for the body of Somerset County af.d upon their oath do present that
Peter Taylor late of all Hallows parish in the County af.d Gen.t the twenty
first day of February Anno Dom seventeen hundred thirty and six at the parish af.d in the County
af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain Daniel Wells of the same County in
the peace of God and of the said Lord proprietary then and there being with force and Arms an
assault did make and the same Daniel then and there did beat wound and evilly treat so
of his life it was much despaired and other harms to him then and there did to the great damage
the same Danil and against the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good Rule
and Government &c
Test  Edw.d Rownd Junr      On the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was endorsed Ignoramus Alexander
Lackey foreman
                                                 And afterwards to witt the fifteenth day of March Anno Dom
one thousand seven hundred and thirty six before the Justices of his Lordships County Court
of Somerset now here held in the Court house at dividing Creek in the same [illegible]
said Peter Taylor in his proper person According to Certain Recognizance [illegible]
Security before Acknowledged and prays that his appearance may be [illegible]
his Security discharged &c  thereupon the same Peter Taylors appearance [illegible]
and he and his Security Accordingly discharged from the Recognizance af.d [illegible]
