County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court one Hog of the price of one hundred pounds of tobacco of the goods and Chattels of Thomas Smith then and there being found then and there feloniously did Steal take and bare away contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good Rule and Government and against the form of the Act of assembly in such case lately made and provided &c Test Thomas Smith Thomas Adams Thomas Gillis Jun.r William Langston Mitchell Dashiell and Kelham On the foregoing bill of Indictment it was Endorsed Ignoramus Alex.d Lackey Foreman Now hereat this day to witt the fifteenth day of March Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred & thirty Six Came the said Finch Jones hereinto Court in his proper person according to a Certain recognizance are discharged &a Whereupon the said Finch Jones is ordered to give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers ^Fees^ due by means of the Indictment afd &c thereupon a Certain William Langston of Somerset County planter present herein Court in his proper person and undertook for the same Finch Jones and acknowledged himselfe Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of Five hundred pounds of tobacco of his body goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the Use of the Severall Officers of Somerset County Court that hath a right to any Fee or Fees on the Indictment & recognizance afd to me made and Levied In Case the said Finch Jones do & Shall not pay unto the Severall Officers af.d Just Fee or Fees due as afd &c Likewise Thomas Smith Thos Adams af.d Jun.r and William Langston Evidences bound by recognizance for their appearance at this Court to give recognizance for his Lordship agt Finch Jones appears here in Court & their appearances are recorded & [illegible] from their recognizances afd &c
