having taken your oaths on the holy evangelist of almighty God According to Act of assembly
in such case made and provided and there Cause to come before you or any three or two of you
all such evidences as shall be to you or any three or two of you nominated by the said
Complainent or def.t if any and that you or any three or two of you Examine them
upon their Corporall oaths to be by you or any three or two of you administred on the
holy evangelist of almighty God in the presence of the Complainent or def.t
of any touching the truth or Remembrance of their knowledge or anything
that may Relate to the Cause af.d and that Reducing the severall depositions
into writing you send the same together with this our Commission under your
or any three or two of your hands and seals to us to our County Court of Somerset
with all Convenient speed  Wittness John Smith Gen.t one of our Justices of our said
Court the 20.st day of March Anno Dom 1735

    Afterwards to witt the twenty first day of June Anno Dom one thousand seven
hundred and thirty seven Came here into Court William Lane and John Henry
two of the Gentleman mentioned in the above Commission and made Return
thereof to the Court here endorsed with the following depositions hereunto annexed
Viz.t May ye 17.st 1736  the within named Commissioners William Lane and
John Henry was duely Qualified according to Law before me   Tho.s Williams Sen.r

Wee the Subscriber two of the Commissioners within mentioned do hereby
humbly certify to the Justices within written that by vertue of the within
Commission to us directed and the power to us thereby given we met upon the
within mentioned tract of Land and did take the severall depositions to this
writt annexed in Relation to the bounds thereof the severall deponents being
upon their Corporall oaths by us first duely administred Examined and haveing
first before our said meeting given Regular notice according to the directions of the
Act of assembly in such case lately made and provided  W.m Lane John Henry
June the 7.th 1736/  Jacob Adams of Somerset County planter aged sixty years
or thereabouts being by us sworn upon the holy evangelist of almighty God deposeth
and saith that about thirty years ago M.r Samuel Collins shewed him the
