form as by the Indictment afd above against her Supposed and the premisses afd in the Same Indictment Expressly
acknowledgeth but hath not wherewithall to pay her fine for the fact afd &c  but puts herselfe upon the favour
of the Court  Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being seen and by the Justices here fully understood  It is
Considered that the afd Mary Breedy be whipt at the Publick whiping post at dividing Creek in the County afd
with teen Stripes on the Bare back well Laid on untill the blood appear and that the said Mary Breedy be
taken &.c  And thereupon as to the Corporall punishment afd Command is Given to the Sheriffe of Somerset
County that he do thereof Immediate Execution by whiping of the said Mary Breedy at the publick whiping
post with ten Stripes on the bare back well Laid on untill the blood appear it being adjudged satisfaction
for the Offence afd &c  and afterwards in the Same Court Came the Same Sheriffe and made return that he had done
the Execution of the Judgment afd as to the Corporall punishment afd he was Commanded &c

    Whereupon the said Mary Breedy is ordered to give Security for the payment of their Severall Officers their
Fee of Fees due by means of the premisses afd upon the Indictment afd but for want thereof the Same Mary
Breedy is Committed into the Custody of the Sheriff of Somerset County there to remaine &c the said sher to witt
Joseph Macclester Gent present herein Court took Charge of the said Mary Breedy accordingly &c

Somerset ss.t  Memorandum That at a Sessions of the peace of his Lordship the Right
Honourable the Lord Proprietary of the province of Maryland held at dividing Creek
in Somerset County on the third Tuesday of June to witt the Twenty first day of the same
month ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven before Robert King Gent and others
his associates Justices of his the said Lord proprietarys peace in the Same County to Conserve and also
divers felonys trespasses and other Malefeasances in the same County Committed to hear and determine
assigned by the Oath of William Holland and twelve others presented that Balmforth Salt Late of
Stepney parish in the County aforesaid Sadler the first day of march Anno Dom seventeen hundred
thirty and six at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this
Court did commit fornication with a Certain Mary Breedy and of her body then and
there had carnal knowledge and a basterd Child on the body of her the same Mary
then and there did beget to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the evil example
of all others in such case offending contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary
that now is his good Rule and Goverment and against the form of the act of assembly
in such case lately made and provided &c

    Thereupon Command was Given to the Sheriffe of SOmerset County that he Should take the said Balmforth
    Salt if &.c to answer &c  And afterwards to witt the aforesaid third Tuesday of June ann Dom
    One thousand seven hundred and thirty Seven that same term before his Lordships the right honourble
