Securitys all present here in Court acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in
the sum of five hundred pounds of tobacco of their severally bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements to the use of
the severall officers that hath a right to any Fee or Fees on the Indictment afd &c   In case the said Sarah Thompson
do and Shall not pay and Satisfie unto the Severall Officers their Fee or Fees as afd by means of the
premisses afd on the Indictment afd &c

                      Memorandum at a Sessions of the peace of his Lordship the Right
Honourable the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland held
at dividing Creek in Somerset County on the third Tuesday of March to
witt the fifteenth day of the same month Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and
thirty six before John Smith Gen.t and others his associates Justices of his the said Lord
proprietary the peace in the County af.d to Conserve and also divers Felonies trespasses
and other Malefeaseances in the same County Committed to hear and determine assigned
by the oath of Alexander Lackie and twelve others being presented that Mary Breedy
Late of Stepney parish in the County af.d Spinster the tenth day of March Anno Dom seventeen
hundred thirty and six at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction
of this Court did commit fornication with a certain person to the Jurors af.d unknown and
did permit the same unknown person then and there to have carnal knowledge of her
body and to beget then and there a basterd Child on the body of her the same Mary to the
high displeasure of almighty God to the evil example of all others in such case offending
contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good Rule and
Goverment and against the form of the Act of assembley in such case lately made
and provided &.c  By which it was Commanded the sheriff of Somerset County that he
should take the said Mary Breedy Late of Stepney parish if she should be found in his
bailywick and her should safe ^keep^ so that he might have her body before the Justices of
his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held in the Court house at dividing Creek the
third tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty seven to
answer unto his said Lordship &c   And afterwards to witt the said third Tuesday of June ann
Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven that Same term before his Lordships Justices at dividing
Creek afd Came the afd Mary Breedy in her proper person and had a hearing of the Indictment afd and saith
that she Cannot deny but that She is Guilty of the premisses afd in the Indictment Specified in manner and
