William Venables
  Guardian to
Ann Venables

William Venables of Somerset County planter is appointed by the Court
as Guardian in and Over Ann Venables a minor under the age of Fourteen Years
an orphan and daughter of John Venables Late of the County afd dec.d untill she the said Ann
shall arrive at full age according to Law for the Chosing of her Guardian &c

          And it is ordered by the Court here that the said William Venables take under his Care the
afd Ann Venables and all her Estate both real and personall and further it is ordered that a Certain
Richard Gosline who hath the Estate of the said Anns in his hands deliver up the same unto the
same Guardian both real and personall and that the afd William Venables give Security for to Comply
with the Guardianship afd &c
                                                       Thereupon the said William Venables with Benjamin Venables
and John Person his security both of Somerset County Gent ^present here in Court in their proper persons^ acknowledged themselves Indebted
unto the said Ann Venables in the Sum of fifty pounds Currt money of Maryland of their bodys
goods or Chattells Lands or tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the said Ann Venables
her heirs or assignes to be made and Levied  If it happen that the said William Venables do not
Comply with the Law in relation to the ^such^ Guardian Ships ^as^ afd afd and do not deliver up unto the said
Ann Venables all her Estate both real and personall (that he shall take into his hand and possession)
peaceably and quietly when ever the same shall be Legally required &c


Sarah Jordine
    bound to
Abigail Waters
Sarah Jordine daughter of Amon Jordine Late of Somerset County decd) an orphan is
of her own free Consent bound out by the Court here an apprentice ^according to act of assembly in such Case provided^ unto Abigail Waters widdow
untill she arrives at the age of Sixteen Years she being Fourteen Years of age the Twenty
sixth day of November then next the said Sarah Jordine to Serve her said Mistress the full term afd during
which term the said Sarah Jordine her said Mistress well and faithfully Shall Serve her secrets keep her
Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willingly she shall doe and in all things as a good & faithfull
apprentice shall demean herselfe towards her said Mistress and all hers during the term afd &c

       In consideration of which Service the said Abigail Waters present herein Court in her proper
person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in manner and form
following vizt  that she the said Abigail Waters during the term afd shall and will use her uttmost Endeavour
to Learn her said apprentice to knitt Sew & Spinn & other houswifery and Likewise find and provide
for her said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an apprentice
to have and wear during the term afd   And further the said Abigail Waters is ordered to give
Security for to Comply with the Covenants afd &.c   Thereupon the said Abigail Waters with Robert
