Capt John Gale
Guardian to
Eliza Dashiell
 John Gale of Somerset County Gent present here in Court in his proper person at
the request of Elizabeth Dashiell (an orphan under the age of Fourteen Years) is by the Court
here appointed as Guardian unto the said Elizabeth Dashiell daughter of Christopher Dashiell
Late of the County afd dec.d untill she arrives at the age of fourteen years &c  and it is ordered by the
Court here that the said John Gale takes into his Care and Custody the said Elizabeth Dashiell and all her
Estate personall and further it is ordered by the Same Court that a Certain Joseph Dashiell all deliver
unto the said Guardian all the Estate personall that he hath in his hands or possession that doth belong
unto the afd Elizabeth &c         and that the said Guardian Give Security for to Comply with the Guardianship
afd   Thereupon the said John Gale with Robert King and Mathias Gale of Somerset County Gent his securitys
all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said
Elizabeth Dashiell in the full and Just Sum of One hundred and fifty pounds Currant money of Maryland
of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements Joyntly and Severally to be made and Levied
to the Use of the said Elizabeth her heirs or assigns  If it happen that the said John Gale do not Comply
with the Law in relation to Such Guardian Ships as afd and do not deliver up unto the said Eliz.a Dashiell
all her Estate personall (that he shall take into his hands and possession) peaceably and quietly when ever
the Same Shall be Legally required &c


Charles Curtis
  Guardian to
Grace Handy
      Charles Curtis of Somerset County GEnt is appointed by the Court here as Guardian
in and over Grace Handy (Daughter of Samuel Handy of the County afd decd) a minor under
the age of Fourteen Years until she the said Grace shall arrive at full age for the Chosing
of her Guardian &.c  And it is Ordered by the Court here that Jane Handy widdow of Thos Handy dec.d deliver up
unto the said Guardian all the Estate personall of the said Grace that she hath in her hands and possession and
that the said Guardian take the said orphan and her Estate and Give Security for to Comply with the Law in
relation to Such Guardianship as afd &c

       Thereupon the said Charles Curtis with Thomas Beachamp and John Tull of Dividing Creek of Somerset
County planters all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto
the said Grace Handy in the sum of one hundred pounds Curr.t money of Maryland of their Severall bodys
goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to be made & Levied to the use of the said
Grace Handy her heirs or assigns  If it Happen that the said Charles Curtis do not Comply with the Law in
Relation to such Guardianships as afd and do not deliver up unto the said Grace Handy all her Estate personall
(that he Shall take into his hands and possession) peaceably and quietly when ever the same shall be Legally
