42 against him as of three hundred and Eighty Seven pounds of tobacco which to the same William in the Same Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of the detaining of that same debt whereof he is Convicted &c Att which day here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek aforesaid Came the said William Teague by Francis Allen his attorney and the Sheriffe of the County afd returned that he had taken the said Jno whose body here at this day he had ready as by the writt afd he was Commanded
Seven hundred and thirty Six to Satisfie unto Joseph Macclester of Eight thousand three hundred and Eighty One pounds of tobacco for which Same Thomas Lambden and the said Littelton Townsend & Thomas Wise Confessed Judgment to the said Joseph Macclester before Thomas Williams & Edward Rownd Gent two of the Justices of of the County Court afd on the twenty fourth day of November and year afd according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided as also twenty two pounds of tobacco additionall Costs whereof he is Convict &c Att which day here Came the afd Coroners of the County afd to witt William Lane and Henry Ballard Gent and returned by virtue of the writt afd they had taken the afd Littleton Townsend and the same Littleton to the barr being here Led by the said Coroners and by the Court here being asked whether he be the person of the same Littleton which the afd Joseph ^in the^ sum of tobacco above Convicted him or not saith that he be therefore the said Littleton Townsend is Committed to the Custody of the Coroners afd to be by them safely kept there to remain untill the afd Joseph of the afd Tobacco be Contented & Satisfied &c
