    Command was given to the Sheriffe of Somerset County that
he Should take Whittington Johnson Late of Somerset County
planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him should safe keep so that
he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset
to be held at dividing Creek in the Same County the third Tuesday of June Ann
Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Eight to Satisfie John Darby of
Sixteen pounds three Shillings and nine pence Curr.t money of Maryland and four
hundred and thirteen pounds of tobacco which to the Same John in the Same Court
before the Justices thereof at dividing Creek afd were adjudged for his damages which
he had by Occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the Same John by the afd
Whittington made and not performed whereof he is Convict &.a and the same day
is given to the afd John there &.a   Att which day here Came the said John Darby by
George Douglas his attorney and the Sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry
Gentleman at the same day here returned that he had taken the afd Whittington whose
body here at this day he had here ready to satisfie the afd John Darby of the damages
afd as afd he was Commanded &a
