hundred and thirty Eight to satisfie Adam Bell as well a Certain debt of sixty pounds
Curr.t money of Maryland which the same Adam Bell in the Same Court before his Lordships
Justices at dividing Creek afd recovered against him as of two hundred and Seventy
Nine pounds of tobacco which to the same Adam Bell in the Same Court were adjudged
for his damages which he had by occasion of the detention of the Same debt whereof
he is Convict &a and the same day is given to the afd Adam Bell there &a

Att which day here Came as well the afd Adam Bell by Robert Jenckins Henry his attorney
as the afd Mathias Nicholson in his proper person   and the said Mathias Nicholson being
by the Sheriffe Ledd to the Barr by vertue of the writt afd to him thereof directed and being
by the Court here asked if he was the very same Mathias the same person which the afd Adam
as well in the debt afd as in the damages afd before Convicted or not saith that he is
Therefore the same Mathias Nicholson is Committed to the prison of the afd Sheriffe
there to remain untill the afd Adam Bell of the debt and damages afd should be fully
Satisfied and Contented &a

    Command was given to the sherriffe of Somerset County
that he should take John Goldsmith Late of Somerset
County planter otherwise Called John Goldsmith of Somerset
County in the said Province of Maryland planter if he should be found in his
Bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before
the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at deviding
Creek in the same County the third tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand
seven hundred and thirty eight to satisfie James Anderson as well a Certain
Debt of twenty pounds Currt money Creek of Maryland which the same James
Anderson in the same Court before his Lordships ^Justices^ at deviding Creek af.d Recovered
against him as of seven hundred and fifty three pounds of tobacco which to
the same James in the same Court were adjudged for his damages which he
had by occasion of the detention of that same debt whereof he is Convict &a
and the same day is given to the af.d James there &a  Att which day here
