300 before Robert King and John Scott Gentlemen two of his Lordships Justices of the peace to keep assigned did on the twenty ninth day of July Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty seven Confess Judgment to the said Richard Gildart Esq.r with twenty two pounds of tobacco additionall Costs according to act of assembly in such case made and provided whereof he is Convict &.a and the same day is given to the af.d Richard there &.a Att which day Came here as well the af.d Richard Gildart in his proper person as the afd Littleton Townsend in his proper person and the same Littleton Townsend being by the Sheriffe Ledd to the Barr by vertue of the writt aforesaid to him thereof directed and being by the Court here asked if he was the very same Littleton the same person which the afd Richd of the tobacco afd was Convicted or not who saith that he is Therefore the Same Littleton Townsend is Committed to the prison of the Sheriffe of the County afd thereto remain in Safe Custody untill the same Richard of the tobacco afd should be fully satisfyed and paid &a
