as by the Indictment aforesaid above against ^her^ Imposed says that she of the premisses afd above
against her Imposed she is Guilty thereof &.c  Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by
the Court here seen heard and fully understood it Seemeth to the Court here by Inspection that the
Child of the afd Molatto Kate that she now here stands Indicted for is a Child begott by a negro
Contrary to the Laws of this province &c   It is Considered by the Court here that the afd
Molatto Kate return back into her Master Service and that her Master to witt William Coleburn
and that he the said Coleburn return her the said Kate at the Expiration of her now Service
to the Justices of the County Court of Somerset in Court Sitting or to the Sheriff of the County
to reemburst to the said County the Severall Officers their Fees due by Occasion of the premisses
afd and to be Sold by the Court for Seven Years according to Law for Such Inordinate Copulation
&a and for as much as their is due to the County thirty one years Service from such
Issue of Such inordinate Copulators  Whereupon the Justices of Somerset County in Court Judicially
Sitting did then & there Sell the said Child Called Alice born of the afd Kate (and begott by
a negro by all appearance) unto William Coleburn Jun.r untill she arrives at the age of thirty
one years the said Alice being now about Six months old the Said Alice to Serve the said William
Coleburn his heirs or assignes the full term afd &a  In consideration thereof the said William Coleburns pay
fifty Shillings Curr.t money for the use of Somerset County &c

Somerset County sst    The Jurors for the right honourable the Lord proprietary
that [illegible] body of Somerset County af.d upon their Oath do present that a Certain
Woman [illegible] late of Coventry parish in the County af.d Spinster the same
Kate being [illegible] the last day of August Anno Dom Seventeen hundred
thirty and five at [illegible] County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court did commit
fornication with [illegible] af.d unknown and did permitt the same unknown
person then and there [illegible] of her body and to beget then and there a basterd
Child on the body [illegible] displeasure of Almighty God to the evil
Example of all [illegible] Contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary
that now is his [illegible] not the [illegible] Act of assembly in such
case lately [illegible]
Test Thomas [illegible] Endorsed as followeth viz.t
a true Bill [illegible] the sheriff of Somerset
County that he should take the [illegible] his bailywick and
her should safe keep so that he might [illegible] Lordships County Court
of Somerset to be held in the Court [illegible] the third tuesday
