297 County planter otherwise Called Alexander Thornes of Somerset County if he should be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of His Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the same County the third tuesday of of June Anno ^Dom^ one thousand seven hundred and thirty eight to satisfie Joseph Macclester as well a Certain debt of seventeen hundred and thirty two pounds of good sound tobacco which the same Joseph in his Lordships County Court of Somerset at deviding Creek before the Justices thereof Recovered against his him as of one hundred and ninety four pounds of tobacco which to the same Joseph Macclester in our same Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of the detention of that same debt whereof he is Convict &a and the same day is given to the af.d Joseph there &.a Att which day here Came the said Joseph Macclester In his proper person and the sherriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent at the same day here returned that he had taken the af.d Alexander Thornes whose body he had ready to sta satisfie the af.d Joseph Macclester of the Debt and damages af.d as af.d he was Commanded &a You Alexander Thornes and John Hopkins do Confess Judgment to Joseph Macclester for the sum of nineteen hundred and twenty six pounds of good sound tobacco which sum was Recovered by the said Joseph Macclester against Alexander Thornes on the thirteenth day of June before George Dashiell and Thomas Williams the said Nineteen hundred and twenty six pounds of tobacco to be Levied of your bodies goods or Chattles Lands or tennements for the use of the said Joseph Macclester in Case the said Alexander Thornes shall not pay and satisfie |
