296 being by the Court here asked if he was the very same Allot the same person which the afd James & John as well of Debt as afd as in the afd Damages above was Convicted or not saith that he was Therefore the same Allot is Committed to the prison of the sheriffe of Somerset County there to remain in safe Custody untill the afd James and John of the debt and damages afd should be Satisfied and Contented &a And afterwards in the same Court to witt the Twentieth day of June Ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Eight before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek Came a Certain Francis Lee and on behalfe of the afd James Russell & John Bachanan Specially Constituted and acknowledged himselfe satisfied by the afd Allot Spolding of the debt and Damages afd Therefore the same Allot Spolding of the debt and damages afd be quiet &a
and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the same County the third tuesday of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty eight to satisfie Joseph Macclester as well a Certain Debt of Forty eight pounds two shillings and ten pence Currt money of Maryland which the same Joseph in his Lordships County Court of Somerset at deviding Creek before the Justices thereof thereof recovered against him as of two hundred and ninety four pounds of tobacco which to the same Joseph were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of the detention of that same debt whereof he is Convict &.a and the same day is given to the same Joseph there &a Att which day here Came the said Joseph Macclester for his proper person and the Sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent at the same day here returned that he had taken the afd Anthony Taylor whose body he had here ready to satisfie the afd Joseph McClester of the debt & Damages ^afd^ as afd he was Commanded &a
