280 Att which day here before His Lordships Justices at a Court then held at deviding Creek Came the af.d Abraham Gullett by his attorney af.d and the sherriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent now here returned that he had taken the af.d Wonney Macclemmey whose body hereat this day he had ready to answer the af.d Abraham Gullett of the af.d plea as to him it was Commanded And the af.d Wonney Macclemmey in his proper person Comes and defends the force and Injury when &.a And saith that he Cannot deny the action afd of the aforesaid Abraham Gullett nor but that he did assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the af.d Abraham above against him hath Complained and as to the damage of the said Abraham by him by occasion of the premisses in that part sustained the same Wonney saith and acknowledgeth that the af.d Abraham hath sustained damages by occasion of the premisses beyound his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that part apposed to three pounds twelve and three pence Currt money of Maryland and not more and because the af.d Abraham denys not his but the same allegations belives to be true prays Judgment for those damages above acknowledged together with his Costs and Charges af.d to him to be adjudged &.a Therefore by Consent of the parties af.d it is Considered that the af.d Abraham Gullett recover against the af.d Wonney Macclemmey his damages af.d to the af.d three pounds twelve shillings and three pence Currt money of Maryland by the same Wonney Macclemmey in form af.d acknowledged as also 226 pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges af.d to the same Abraham at his |
