Justices in Court Sitting at dividing Creek to answer the Indictment afd  and afterwards
upon the Last day of this term the said Eliz.a Smith present herein Court is discharged from
the recognizance afd she and her Security          Thereupon the said Elizabeth Smith is
Ordered to give new Recognizance for her appearance at June Court Next to answer
the Indictment & premisses afd &a   Thereupon the Said Elizabeth Smith with Capel
King her Security both present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged
themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary in five pounds Curr.t
Money of Maryland each of their Severall goods and Chattells lands and tenements
to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successors to be made & Levied If it happen
that the said Eliz.a Smith do not make her personall appearance before the Justices
of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek in the same
County the third Tuesday of June the next following to answer unto his said Lordship
of and Concerning the Indictment and premisses afd and do not stand & abide the
Judgment ^of the Court^ thereon and do depart the same Court without Leave &a

          Att which day here the said Elizabeth Smith altho' Solemnly Called Comes
not according to the tenor of the recognizance ^afd^ nor Shews Cause why &a and the
said Capell King altho at the Same day being Solemnly Called brings not in the
said Eliz.a Smith according to the recognizance afd but makes default &a

Be it remembred that this day vizt the 2d day of December Ann Dom 1737
appeared before one the Subr one of his Lordships Justices of the peace for
the County of Somerset Abraham Mannering with John Bushop and Elias Pointer
his Securitys and did then and there Own and Acknowledge themselves to ow^e^ and
stand Justly indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary of Maryland
viz.t the said Mannering in the Just sum of fifty pounds sterling and the
said Bushop and Pointer in the sum of twenty five pounds sterling each to be void
of their Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements in a Case forfeiture be made of
the Underwritten Recognizance

The Condition of which Recognizance is such that if ^the^ above named Abraham
Mannering do Make his personal appearance before his Lordships Justices of
the peace for the County af.d at a Court to be held at dividing Creek the third
Tuesday of March next then and there to answer unto such ^things as^ shall or may
