of Somerset County Gentlemen be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of
assembly in Such Case made and provided &a

     To the worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County sitting at dividing Creek
the 20.th day of June 1738    The humble petition of Hugh Stevenson and John Miller
                   humbly sheweth      That Whereas that upon the death of Cap.t William Fasit a Certain
tract of Land was Left by his Last will to your petitioners Called Burley containing 200 acres of Land
to be equally divided between us  therefore for a perpetuity we Begg your worships to Issue out
a Commission to Such persons as you think fitt to Settle the boundaries and division of said tract
and as in duty wee are bound to wish the happiness of your worships as your petitioners shall pray

                   The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood  It is Considered by
the Court here that a Commission Issue to the afd Hugh Stevenson and John Miller as by the petition
afd is praid and that James Martin Samuel Hopkins Synapuckson Isaac Marshall & William Simpson
all of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly
in Such Case made & provided &a


    Cannon Winwright of Somerset County planter brings his negro Girle into Court Called Doll who is
adjudged by the Court here to Eleven years of age &a

Nero a negro Boy of Charles Polk is adjudged by the Court here to be of the age of Twelve years
this term &a


Levin Denwood
Chose his Guardian
Levin Denwood (son of John Denwood late of Somerset County decd) an orphan
above the age of Fourteen Years Came hereinto Court in his proper person and prays
that he may be admitted to Chose a Certaine Levin Gale of the County afd Esq.r as
his Guardian which is by the Court here unto him Granted &.a  Thereupon the said Levin Denwood present
herein Court in his proper person makes Choice of the afd Levin Gale Esq.r as his Guardian &a  Whereupon
^It is ordered by the Court here that^ a Certain John Waters of Somerset Court Gent deliver up unto the afd Guardian all the Estate
of the afd Levin Denwood that he hath in his hands and possession both real and personall and
that the afd Guardian receive the Same &a  Likewise the said Guardian is ordered to give Security
for to Comply with the Guardianship afd &.a   Whereupon the afd Levin Gale Esq.r together
with Robert Jenckins Henry and John Dennis Jun.r of Somerset County Gentleman his securitys all
