forth as they provide and where they are silent According to the Laws Statutes and
Reasonable Customs of England as used and practised within this province  But we
will not that you proceed in any of the Cases af.d to take life or member But that in Every
Such Case you send the prisoners With their Indictments and the whole matters Depending
before you to our Justices of Assize Nisi prius and Goal Delivery at the Next Court
of Oyer and Terminer to be held for our said County be it when so ever or where soever
to be hold^en^ thereto be tryed  And we Command you and Every of you Diligently
to Intend the Keeping the peace Acts of Assembly Laws Customs and Statutes af.d
and all and Every the premisses and that ^at^ your County Courts you make Inquisition
and hear and Determine as af.d doing therin what to Justice Appertains According
to the Laws Customs and Directions of the Acts of Assembly af.d so far forth as they provide
and where they are silent According to the Laws Statutes and reasonable Customs of
England as used and practised within this province and further we do Constitute odain
and appoint you the said Richard Tilghman Mathew Tilghman Ward John Rousby
Benjamin Tasker Philip Lee John Rider George Plater Edmund Jenings James
Hollyday Charles Hammond and Levin Gale Esqr Robert King John Smith Balt
Hundred William Stoughton Edward Chambers John Handy John Scott James
Martin Thomas Williams Henry Ballard David Wilson George Dashiel Thomas
Gillis Mitchell Dashiel and Samuel Hopkins of Sinapuxent or any three or more of
you as af.d to Issue out Writs precepts process and Attachments and hold plea of all
Actions popular and all Actions personal of what sort soever wherein the demand
doth not Exceed the sum of one hundred pounds Sterling or thirty thousand pounds
of Tobacco and all Actions personal now depending before you and after Judgment
Execution to award in all Such Cases and Actions af.d According to the Laws Customs
and Directions of the Acts of Assembly af.d so far forth as they provide and where they
are silent According to the Laws Statutes and Reasonable Customs of England as and
used and practised within this province in which said Actions so to be tryed We Do
